DMF-Torquetable

The correct tightening torques of the fitting bolts are required for a professional replacement of the dual mass flywheel. This chart shows the correct tightening torque by LuK Dual Mass Flywheel part number. The table also shows if the fitting bolts can be re-used or if new ones should be used for fitting of the new dual mass flywheel.

DMF-Data-Table

A 100% functional test includes among other things testing the characteristics of the arc springs in the Dual Mass Flywheel (DMF) during compression. The testing must be performed at a special test facility as it cannot be carried out with standard workshop equipment. However, the LuK DMF special tool 400 0080 10 allows you to perform the most important measurements – freeplay angle and rock – in a workshop environment. The rated values for freeplay angle and rock vary depending on the type of DMF.
